2022 Let's Go!!

I wrote a great intro to this, hit the wrong button, and poof... it was gone. So, I'm gonna try this again.

I notice, with my blogs, I have a trend of writing one in Jan. and then ... thats's all you get. Ughh! Well, I want to do better in 2022. I have learned quite a bit since my initial post in 2018. In 2020, during quarantine and the pandemic, I decided to get serious about voice over. We were all working from home, so I asked myself, "Why not go all in?". So in Dec. of 2020, I joined several pay to play sites such as Voices123, Voices.com , Voiceovers.com and Backstage. Although some people do not like those sites, they have been great for me! I got a job right away and it paid $1600! Of course I was elated, and to be honest 2021 was a great year for me in voice over. I took classes, had a few coaches, listened to several podcast and joined in Clubhouse groups. I learned quite a bit and picked up a few repeat clients! I wasn't sure I could do, but I just went all in and did it! I spent the money I needed for good equipment and I have two home studios. I am saying all this to say... if you want to do voice over or anything for that matter... DO IT! Do the homework, study and DO THE WORK! It will happen! My goal for 2022 is a big one, and I believe it can and will happen for me this year! I promise to keep you updated this time and not wait until Jan. 2023 to blog again! LOL!
